Bulky waste - no more than five items - are collected at normal garbage pick-up dates. Taking equipment to the Solid Waste Transfer Station, 1033 Elm St., 865-215-6700. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and, Friday - 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday - 7 a.m. to 12 Noon. Saturday - 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. Cost: Free for up to two computers / per quarter for City and Knox County residents. REMOVE DATA FROM THE HARD DRIVE: Be sure to erase any data, especailly personal data from hard drives before recycling any computer systems. Businesses with 100 computers or less: Transport to the Solid Waste Transfer Station, 1033 Elm St., 865-215-6700.
