RED CROSS SWIM LESSONS

Community Centers

All City swim lessons are taught by Water Safety Instructors and lifeguarded with certified American Red Cross staff. All Learn-to-Swim programs are $20.00 per child.

OUTDOOR SWIM LESSONS

Where: Inskip Pool

When: Monday - Thursday
  9 a.m. or 10 a.m.
  Two-week sessions
  Each hour holds three classes of eight students each
  Session I: June 13-16 & June 20-24
Session II: June 27-30 & July 11-14
Who: Ages 5-years-old and up, or at least completion of Kindergarten

INDOOR SWIM LESSONS

Where: South Knoxville Community Pool

When: Tuesday and Thursday evenings
  5 p.m. , 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.
  Each hour holds two classes of eight students each
  June 6 - June 30
Who: Ages 5-years-old and up, or at least completion of Kindergarten

*The South Knoxville Community Pool will host an ongoing "Learn to Swim Lesson" program throughout the year in a four week on, one week off format. The program is comprised of eight 45-minute classes.

*Parent Child Aquatic Class will be offered in the Fall and will be designed for younger ages. These classes are essentially aquatic exploration, incorporating both the child and their parent/caregiver.
