Father's Day Fishing Event 2008

The City of Knoxville's Father's Day Fishing Event, administered by Knoxville Parks and Recreation and the Mast General Store, was enjoyed by over 200 people on Sunday. Dads and their kids caught fish donated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. The Mast General Store donated an $80 gift basket for the first place winner, a $50 basket for the second and third place winners, and a $50 value collapsible chair for the person who caught the albino catfish.

Winners were:
First Place - Anthony Richardson, 8 pound, 3 ounce channel catfish
Second Place - Austin Blair, 5 pound, 2 ounce channel catfish
Third Place - Keenan Adams, 4 pound, 11 ounce channel catfish
