Lonsdale Recreation Center received a renovation and a 2,500 square-foot addition in 2012. The new addition features a multi-purpose community room with a complete kitchen and new restrooms. The existing gym and computer lab were refurbished and the previous restrooms area were converted into a hallway and an office.
