Directions: From I-40, Merge onto I-75 N. Then, merge onto WESTERN AVE/TN-62 E via EXIT 1. Turn LEFT onto TEXAS AVE. Turn RIGHT onto STONEWALL ST NW. End at 2700 Stonewall St Knoxville, TN 37921-2552, US.

Lonsdale Recreation Center is situated in the heart of the Lonsdale Community. It resides on a block with Lonsdale Park and Lonsdale Elementary School. Lonsdale Greenway is a paved loop trail that connects the school (through Lonsdale Park) to the recreation center.

Lonsdale Recreation Center received a renovation and a 2,500 square-foot addition in 2012. The new addition features a multi-purpose community room with a complete kitchen and new restrooms. The existing gym and computer lab were refurbished and the previous restrooms area were converted into a hallway and an office.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS:

The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
