What: Summer Playground Program
When: Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Dates: June 2 - July 25, 2008
Who: Children ages 6-12-years-old
Cost: $20 per child for the first two kids, free thereafter
Registration: April 14 - May 30, 2008
Details: This program provides recreation activities including swimming, canoeing and field trips to the Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center. Participants are provided lunch each day at certain locations.

North Knoxville

Directions: From I-40, Merge onto I-75 N. Merge onto I-75 N via EXIT 3 toward LEXINGTON, Take the MERCHANTS DR exit- EXIT 108. Turn RIGHT onto MERCHANTS DR NW. Turn RIGHT onto CENTRAL AVE PIKE. Turn RIGHT onto W INSKIP DR. End at 301 W Inskip Dr Knoxville, TN 37912-4020, US.

Inskip Recreation Center is situated in the heart of Inskip Ballfields in North Knoxville.

The facility has a gymnasium, game room, playground, and baseball/softball fields.

These recreation venues provide a plethora of recreation opportunities for citizens, including the children participating in the After School and Summer Playground programs.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS:

The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
