Listening Tour scheduled at Ridgedale Elementary School

November 12, 2004 - Mayor Bill Haslam's Listening Tour will be at Ridgedale Elementary School on Monday, November 15. The Listening Tour is a monthly event designed to bring city hall to Knoxville's neighborhoods. "We want to make city government more accessible, convenient and responsive to citizens, and the Listening Tour is one way to meet that goal," Haslam said. Mayor Haslam and city officials will be in the school's gymnasium at 5 p.m. The school is located at 4600 Ridgedale Road (off of Western Avenue). Residents will have the opportunity to speak personally with Mayor Haslam before meeting with a city official with specific knowledge related to their comment or concern.
