Mayor's Walking Tour in Westwood Today

August 24, 2004 - Mayor Bill Haslam will walk the Westwood neighborhood beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, continuing his commitment to take City Hall to Knoxville neighborhoods.

"Like the Listening Tours, these Walking Tours are a convenient way for residents to let me know how city government is responding to their needs," Mayor Haslam said.

"Our city services should be efficient and accountable, and listening to the taxpayers served by such services is important in meeting that goal." The Mayor will begin at Westwood Park behind Bearden Elementary School and travel Greenbrier and Herron Drives.
