Listening Tour travels to North Knoxville

July 9, 2004 - Mayor Bill Haslam's Listening Tour will be at Norwood Elementary School on Monday, July 12.

The Listening Tour is a monthly event designed to bring city hall to Knoxville's neighborhoods.

"The Listening Tour is a convenient way for residents to let me know how city government is responding to their needs," Mayor Bill Haslam said. "Our city services should be efficient and accountable, and the Listening Tour provides an opportunity for citizens to let me know how we're meeting those goals."

Mayor Haslam and city officials will be at Norwood Elementary School, located at 1909 Merchant Drive, at 5 p.m. Residents will have the opportunity to speak personally with Mayor Haslam before meeting with a city official with specific knowledge related to their comment or concern.
