The Cumberland Avenue Corridor Project Public Meeting was held July 24th with over 40 people in attendance.

The city presented information on the project history, streetscape improvements and the urban design plan. The Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) presented the proposed Form Based Code which will allow for a mixed use district to be created. The goal for these projects is to create a more attractive, economically successful, vibrant and safe Cumberland Ave.

Comments on the proposals were varied and included some questions for staff to address. Overall, the comments were positive and anticipate moving forward. Please CLICK HERE to review written comments that were received.
