Citation and Parking Ticket Online Payments

The City Of Knoxville provides for your convenience a secure online payment option for paying citations and parking tickets by credit card. Citations and parking tickets may be paid online using Master Card or Visa.

Prior to starting please have your copy of the citation or parking ticket along with your credit card and access to a printer if you want to print your receipt.

Please note that a nonrefundable convenience fee of $2.25 will be imposed on payments through the online service to cover the cost of operating the website.

Citations - Please allow at least ten (10) business days from the date of issue before trying to pay citations online. You can access your citation information by Citation Number and Date of Birth, Drivers License Number and Date of Birth , Social Security Number and Date of Birth or by Vehicle Tag Number.

Parking Tickets - Please allow at least three (3) business days from the date of issue before trying to pay online. When paying parking tickets you must enter the Vehicle Tag Number to access your information. Parking tickets will increase in amount if not paid within ten (10) business days from the issue date.

While most tickets may be paid online, the following require a court appearance:

Under age consumption

Any citation on which the officer writes "must appear in court"

All city ordinance citations for violations other than traffic or parking

Online Payments Refund Policy - In the event that your payment was charged to your credit card in error, we will consider your request to cancel the original transaction and refund your payment minus the $2.25 convenience fee, as long as the request is made within sixty days of the original transaction.
