Directions: To get to the west end of the park behind the
YMCA: Take the West Hills exit off of I-40 to Kingston Pike; make
a right onto Kingston Pike; turn right onto Winston right; after
you cross the bridge, the park will be on right.
East end of the park for the ball fields: Take
the West Hills exit off of I-40 to Kingston Pike; make a left onto
Kingston Pike; then make a left onto Buckingham Drive by Walgreen's;
at stop sigh turn right onto Vanosdale; at next stop sign make a
left onto Sheffield Drive; park will be on the left and also behind
school.
West Hills/John Bynon Park is a diverse park located on the edge of West Hills neighborhood. Recreation venues include softball/baseball, basketball, tennis, playgrounds, and the 1.9-mile paved Jean Teague Greenway.
The park is also a host for the Knoxville Community Recreation Band's Summer Concerts in the Park.
PARK RULES & REGULATIONS:
1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users,
the following are prohibited
No alcoholic beverages No firearms
No open fires
No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
No motorized vehicles in park
No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles. 5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
