Police Cars

In the early days officers were compelled to drag their prisoners which included drunks to jail. This was a revolting site to see, so the State legislature of 1891 passed a law requiring cities to provide a Patrol Wagon for this purpose. The first were horse drawn. To the right is a picture of the first motorized patrol wagon a 1923 Sea Cab.
