CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR Two KPD Employees Share Civilian of the Year Honors Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen today named Scott Tidwell and Tom Sparkes the 2006 Civilian Employees of the Year for the Knoxville Police Department. Mr. Tidwell is the Technical Services Supervisor and has been with the department since April 2000. Mr. Sparkes is the police department's Maintenance Crew Leader and has been with the department since October 2000. [NEWS RELEASE] DECEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored For Commitment to Service Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen today named Deborah Thomas the December Civilian Employee of the Month for the Knoxville Police Department. Ms. Thomas has been with the department since June 2000. [NEWS RELEASE] NOVEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored For Volunteer Work Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen named Marcie Alls-Stubblefield the Civilian Employee of the Month for November. Ms. Alls-Stubblefield has been with the department since January 1997. Chief Owen said the department simply needed a central place for the collection of the United Way Campaign forms when Ms. Alls-Stubblefield volunteered her services. [NEWS RELEASE] OCTOBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Success of Halloween In the City Earns Employee Special Honor Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen named Vicki Dagnan the Civilian Employee of the Month for October. Ms. Dagnan has been with the Knoxville Police Department since February 1995. Ms. Patty has been with the department since December 1990 while Ms. Crick has been with KPD since September 1997. [NEWS RELEASE] AUGUST EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored For Efforts In Promoting The Police Department Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen named Vicki Dagnan the Civilian Employee of the Month for August. Ms. Dagnan has been with the department since February 1995 and is currently assigned to Safety City. [NEWS RELEASE]	JULY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Personnel Employee Honored For Outstanding Job Performance Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen today named Patricia Nicley the Civilian Employee of the Month for July. Ms. Nicley has been with the department since September 1989. Ms. Nicley started her career with the Knoxville Police Department assigned to the Records Unit. In December 1991, she transferred to the Personnel Section. [NEWS RELEASE] JUNE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored For Contributions To Department Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen today named Diane Lewis as the Civilian Employee of the Month for June 2006. Ms. Lewis is the Patrol Division Administrative Assistant and has been with the department since March 2001. [NEWS RELEASE] MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored for Critical Data Entry Achievement Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen named Karen Ellis the May Civilian Employee of the Month. Ms. Ellis has been with the department since May 1992. Chief Owen said Ms. Ellis is the Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) for the department. She is responsible for maintaining the notes and files required for the NCIC Unit. This information is a critical part of the annual audit by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). [NEWS RELEASE] APRIL EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH Two Employees Honored For Their Service to the Department Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Chief Sterling Owen named June Fulford and Karen Mitchell the Civilian Employees of the Month for April. Ms. Fulford has been with the department since May 1982 and Ms. Mitchell has been with KPD since June 2003. [NEWS RELEASE] MARCH EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Employee Honored For Exemplary Work In Budget Preparations Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen named Ms. Janice Marston the Civilian Employee of the Month for March. Ms. Marston works in the Management Services Division and has been with the police department since October 2004. Ms. Marston started her career with the City of Knoxville in 1986. [NEWS RELEASE] JANUARY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH Establishment of Crime Sharing Association Earns Employee Special Award Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Police Chief Sterling Owen today named Donna Patty the January Civilian Employee of the Month. Patty is a TIBRS Auditor and is currently assigned to the Crime Analysis Unit. Patty has been with the Knoxville Police Department since December 1990.
