Listed below are KAT's current fares. You can purchase individual tickets or monthly passes; you may also pay in cash when you board the bus (correct change ONLY, please).

Disabled: $20
Monthly passes may be purchased at First Tennessee Bank downtown or from KAT's main offices at 1135 Magnolia Avenue. In addition, some bus operators sell monthly passes.

| Through a unique partnership with Knox County government, KAT is offering FREE rides for seniors (age 65 or above). To ride for free, you must present your Medicare card and an ID (driver's license or state identification card) to the bus operator, or your Seniors Freedom ID card Click on the Seniors Freedom logo for more information on this program. Need a Seniors Freedom ID Card? If you'd rather not carry your Medicare card and proof of age with you, you can get a Seniors Freedom ID card from KAT (as shown at right). These ID cards cost $2 and are made on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at KAT's main office, 1135 Magnolia Avenue. You will need to bring proof of your age with you to get the card. |
