Temporary Relocation of KAT Administrative Offices


Effective on September 21, 2009, KAT Administrative Offices will be moving to a temporary facility located at 900 Volunteer Landing Lane. The KAT offices will be located in the former Gateway Regional Visitors Center building.

All ticket sales (including LIFT) and half-fare program identification cards will be made in this new location.

Ticket Sales
After Friday, September 18, 2009, no tickets (including LIFT) will be sold at 1135 Magnolia Avenue.

Beginning Monday, September 21, 2009, tickets will be available at the Gateway building. Tickets may be purchased Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Photo ID Cards
After Wednesday, September 16, 2009, NO photo ID cards will be made at 1135 Magnolia.
Effective Monday, September 21, 2009, the photo ID process will be located in the Gateway building, and applications will be accepted Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

This facility will be used until KAT relocates permanently to the Knoxville Station Transit Center in August 2010.

Parking is available near the Gateway building, and the facility is accessible via the Blue Line Trolley and Routes 30, 32, 33 and 90, as shown on map above.
