Inskip Greenway and and Inskip Trail were created at the City's existing Inskip Pool and Park off of Bruhin Rd. When Pilot Corp. made a donation to have the neighborhood park renovated, Knoxville Parks and Recreation held public meetings. Some of the primary requests that came out of these meetings were to have a paved walking trail and to have better access into the woods that covered a significant part of the property. Out of these requests came the 0.2-mile paved asphalt Inskip Greenway and the 0.1-mile unpaved walking trail.
The paved loop greenway encompasses the new pavilion at the park's center and the soon-to-be-installed playground. The loop also provides an accessible path to the newly resurfaced tennis courts.
Spurring off of the paved loop greenway, unpaved trail meanders through the woods of Inskip Park.
