TEMPORARY USE OF OUTDOOR SPACE FOR RESTAURANT DINING
To support local restaurants during COVID-19 pandemic, and to help promote outdoor settings and physical distancing, the City of Knoxville is offering a permit for temporary expansion of restaurants to both public and private outdoor spaces.

The successful recruitment, retention and expansion of businesses are priorities for Mayor Indya Kincannon.

With an aim to improve relationships with businesses from all sectors, the City interacts with business owners on a variety of issues and aims to be more responsive to their needs.

The City's Business Advisory Council, which is composed of a diverse group of business owners, meet every other month. Members serve two-year terms to insure that, over time, a large number of representatives from the Knoxville business community have a voice and to encourage new perspectives.
