Civil Service Current Job Openings FAQs Benefits How to Apply for a Job Civil Service Staff Mission Statement Civil Service Merit Board LONGEVITY BENEFITS All members of the uniformed and non uniformed bodies who are permanent full-time employees shall be entitled to monthly longevity payments beginning after the completion of four years of continuous service. This amount will be added to the hourly rate of pay. Such longevity payments shall be in the amount of $120 multiplied by the number of years beyond the first four years to a maximum of 20 years. Annual longevity payments for each calendar year shall be paid in equal biweekly installments with the first regular payroll payment of each calendar year.
