The SWNA is organized specifically for the purpose of making our neighborhood a safer, friendlier, more attractive and better place to live, work and play.

About Our Neighborhood
SWNA incorporates the entire community, including homeowners, renters, business owners and employees.

Our association was formed with the following goals in mind:

- Get to know your neighbors through social events
- Protect and enhance the neighborhood’s strengths
- Find workable remedies for its problems
- Form a neighborhood crime watch with assistance from the Knoxville Police Department
- Be ready to work together to protect our neighborhood
- Have a strong, collective voice with City Council, County Commission and government agencies on matters affecting the neighborhood
- Join together with other South Knoxville neighborhood associations on shared goals and concerns
