About Our Neighborhood
Cherokee Bluff is a charming gated condominium community comprised of 136 two and three bedroom units situated on over 100 acres perched on the western most of the Cherokee Bluffs along the south bank of the Tennessee River adjacent to the UT Med Center. Several hundred residents call it home and enjoy a park-like setting, 24-7 manned security, amenities including a swimming pool and tennis courts, and spectacular panoramic views of Knoxville, UT's campus, the Tennessee River, the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cumberland Mountains.

Less than half of the property is landscaped or occupied by structures so a substantial buffer of mature, heavily sloped woodland surrounds the development. Cherokee Bluff is more than half owner-occupied and is home to a healthy mix of residents ranging from folks who were the original unit purchasers in the mid-1970s to young professionals to graduate and undergraduate UT students. Cherokee Bluff is very conveniently located to UT, Downtown Knoxville, McGhee-Tyson Airport, and I-40/75. It is centrally located yet it has a feel of being removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is quite a wonderful place to call home.
