NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY COUNCIL
Office of Neighborhoods
Consisting of neighborhood leaders from around the city, the Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) serves in an advisory and partnership capacity to:
    1) Give advice and feedback on the programs and policies of the Office of Neighborhoods,
    2) Bring neighborhood issues and concerns to the attention of the city administration,
    3) Propose responses and solutions to address these concerns; and
    4) Serve as a sounding board for city initiatives and proposals affecting neighborhoods.

Meetings: The NAC meets each month except December and July. Meetings are held at 4:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month in the community meeting room at the L.T. Ross Building, 2247 Western Avenue. If you plan to attend, call the Office of Neighborhoods (865-215-3232) to make sure the meeting will be held as scheduled.

Membership: NAC members are appointed by the Mayor of Knoxville. If you wish to apply for an appointment to the NAC, or if you wish to recommend someone for a seat, find out more about the process.
