Pursuant to Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Orders No. 16 & 65, current meetings will be conducted electronically. Members of the public will not be able to physically attend the meeting, but they can watch on Community Television of Knoxville either streaming on its website or on broadcast television. CITY COUNCIL MEETING DEC. 1, 2020
Knoxville City Council will hold a regular Council meeting at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 via Zoom video/audio conference. Persons wishing to speak at Council meeting must register with the City Recorder’s Office either by telephone or email before 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. The City Recorder’s Office will ask for contact information in order that they can connect to the Zoom meeting. Participation is possible either through the Zoom application or by phoning-in to the meeting.

CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP DEC. 3, 2020
Knoxville City Council will hold a Workshop at 4 p.m via Zoom video/audio conference. The following topic(s) will be on the agenda: a review of KPD's budget. Persons wishing to speak at the workshop must register with the City Recorder’s Office either by telephone or email before 3 p.m. on Dec. 3. The City Recorder’s Office will ask for contact information in order that they can connect to the Zoom meeting. MEETING INFO
The Agenda for the meeting is available online Friday before the meeting. The Meeting Minutes indicating the action taken by City Council on each item are available online Thursday following the meeting.

To sign up to speak concerning any item on the agenda or during Public Forum held at the end of every meeting, you may call the City Recorder's Office the day of the meeting at 865-215-2075. Individuals wishing to speak to City Council may also sign up with the City Recorder on the night of the meeting.

Watch Meetings on TV and Online

Regularly scheduled City Council meetings can be seen live on CTV, Channel 12. CTV also airs the recording of City Council meetings the following Tuesday at 7 p.m. PLUS you can view City Council and County Commission Meetings online at www.ctvknox.org.
BEER BOARD
City Council also acts as Knoxville's Beer Board which regulates beer permits.

Councilman Andrew Roberto is the Beer Board Chairman.

The Vice Mayor is selected by City Council from its membership for a two-year term. Council Member Gwen McKenzie is currently Vice Mayor.

Each Council member is elected to serve a four year term.
