The purpose of this committee is to study the problems posed by unsafe vehicular traffic within residential neighborhoods and propose solutions to those problems and plan for the implementation of those solutions.

This is an Ad Hoc Committee of sixteen members.

These members represent:

1. Councilmember representing At-Large, Seat A
2. Three Councilmembers nominated by the Vice-Mayor
3. Engineering Department representative
4. Three Police Department representatives
5. Knoxville Fire Department representative
6. Law Department representative
7. A representative from each of the six Councilmanic Districts
