STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD
Former Mayor Bill Haslam formed a Student Advisory Board to improve interaction between the University of Tennessee student community and City government. The UT Student Government Association acted in partnership with the city to create this board. The board meets with City leaders to connect students with today's issues and to inform city officials of their concerns for Knoxville.
Appointment of Board Members
Students serve a one-year term. Applications are available through the Student Government Association.
Meetings Schedule
The Student Advisory Board meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 3:45 pm in the Mayor's Conference Room.
