Current Agenda [PDF]
This Commission was created to study the needs and desires of city residents and to promote the development of new greenways and the maintenance of existing ones. Another function is to investigate and recommend sources of funding and the donation of land.
Appointment of Commission Members
The Commission consists of up to 20 members that reside in Knox County but the majority of the members must be residents in the City of Knoxville. Members are appointed by the Mayor for three-year terms.
Meetings Schedule
The Greenway Commission meets at 4 p.m. in Room 309 of the City County Building.

The Commission is currently scheduled to meet in 2009 on January 6, February 3, March 3, May 5, July 14, September 1, November 3.
