The Development Partners Advisory Group joins the private and public sector development interests to create improvements that will ultimately result in cost savings, greater efficiencies, and better working relationships.

The group will prepare an implementation strategy to improve the development review process. The composition of the group is intended to involve development-related customers and service providers. Topics will include land use zoning, subdivision of property, and building plans review, permitting, and inspections. Both short- and longer-term improvements will be addressed.

ZONING & SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS COMMITTEE

This committee will work on processes and requirements related to zoning, use-on-review, concept plan, design plan, and final plat applications. Primary emphasis will be placed on MPC and Engineering staff administrative tasks.

This committee will focus on processes and requirements related to the city's building codes. It has been suggested that a good way to structure the discussion is to concentrate on three major components: Plans Review, Permitting, and Inspections.

This committee will focus on processes and requirements related to the city's building codes. It has been suggested that a good way to structure the discussion is to concentrate on three major components: Plans Review, Permitting, and Inspections. This committee should also discuss how each of the major disciplines (Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) would be affected by the improvement recommendations.
