The Mayor nominates members to the Board for confirmation by City Council. Terms are for seven years.

The Board usually meets on the 3rd Wednesday each month at 4 pm at McGhee Tyson Airport, 3rd floor Board Room. Meetings are subject to change if there is a conflict.
