City Services Holiday Schedule

April 14, 2014 - City of Knoxville offices will be closed Friday, April 18 for the Easter Holiday.

Waste Connections, the City of Knoxville's household garbage and recycling collector, will be open during its normal business hours on Friday, April 18.

The collection for residential garbage and curbside recycling will run on a normal operating schedule Friday, April 18.

Downtown trash collection will be picked up on a normal operating schedule from Friday, April 18, through Sunday, April 20.

The city's recycling centers also will be open normal business hours from Friday, April 18, through Sunday, April 20.

The Goodwill attendant will be available the following hours this weekend:

  • Friday, April 18th - 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 19th - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 20th, closed; not available for household goods donations

    The City's Solid Waste Management Facility, 1033 Elm Street, will be closed Friday and Saturday in observance of the holiday.
