Developers to Hold Open House and Tour of Farragut Hotel Property

February 21, 2014 - On Monday, Feb. 24, representatives of Halo Hospitality Group will host an Open House and tour of select portions of the Farragut Hotel property.

The Halo Hospitality Group representatives will be in Knoxville part of next week to talk with City of Knoxville officials and others about their proposal to restore the historic Farragut Hotel in the 500 block of South Gay Street.

The potential developers are proposing restoring the historic property to a 190-room full-service hotel.

The event will begin with a 5 p.m. informal gathering and discussion of the proposed project at the East Tennessee History Center, located at 601 S. Gay St, then a 5:30 p.m. tour of the old Farragut Hotel's first floor. After the tour, the development team will be available for questions at the History Center.
