City Youth Basketball Tournament, Skills Challenge this Weekend

February 21, 2014 - The City Youth Basketball Tournament and Team Skills Challenge will be this Friday and Saturday at the Christenberry Recreation Center located at 931 Oglewood Ave.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Friday
6:15 p.m. - Boys 17 and under
7:15 p.m. - Boys 14 and under
8:15 p.m. - Boys 12 and under

Saturday
9 a.m. - Girls 8 and under
10 a.m. - Boys 8 and under
11 a.m. - Girls 10 and under
12 p.m. - Boys 10 and under
1 p.m. - Team Skills Challenge and 17 and Under Three-Point Contest
3 p.m. - "If" games begin (if any teams from consolation bracket beat team from winner's bracket)

Team Skills Challenge
All commissions are invited to have teams of five athletes compete. Teams will dribble through a basketball obstacle course to compete for the best time.

17 and Under 3-Point Contest
Eight contestants will compete in a shootout similar to the NBA three-point contest. The top two teams will compete for the title.
