KAT is Operating on Regular Snow Routes
KATBUS.comJanuary 28, 2014 - KAT is currently operating on regular Snow Routes.

During Snow Routes, KAT buses operate as close to regular schedule as possible, but detour around some of the more dangerous secondary and tertiary roads.

Complete information about Snow Routes can be found at http://katbus.com/maps/snowroutes2013.pdf.

Be aware that for this particular snow event, because many roads were not pre-treated, some routes may be on additional detours that are not shown on the Snow Route information packet.

Passengers can keep up to date on www.katbus.com, KAT's Facebook page at facebook.com/knoxvilleareatransit or KAT's Twitter feed at twitter.com/kat_bus.

Passengers can also contact a Transit Agent at 637-3000 for information about a specific route before heading to the bus stop.
