Metler Drive Recycling Center to Relocate

February 12, 2013 - The City recycling drop-off center at 820 Metler Drive off Clinton Highway, operated by Goodwill, will be permanently closing on Feb. 27th, 2013.

The recycling containers and Goodwill attendant will be relocated to the new Goodwill facility at 5412 Pleasant Ridge Road, at the corner of Pleasant Ridge and Merchant Drive.

The new location will be owned by Goodwill and will be open starting March 2nd to receive recycling materials 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The same recycling materials will be accepted at the Goodwill facility as well as donations to Goodwill.

Area residents may also use the City recycling drop-off center behind Kroger at the I-640 Plaza at 4440 Western Ave., as well as any of the other centers around Knoxville.
