October 9, 2012 - There will be a public meeting to discuss the State Street Garage Expansion on Thursday Oct. 11, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. ain the East Tennessee History Center on S. Gay Street

City of Knoxville officials and construction managers with the State Street Garage addition invite the public to learn more about the timeline of the project.

The garage will receive an additional parking deck and some of the foundation work is scheduled to begin this month.

The discussion will include information on temporary lane and street closures that are expected during the construction.
