KAULThe Knoxville Area Urban League Young Professionals was chartered in July 2007. Today, the organization is thriving with successful community service events, monthly meetings with guest speakers, and Cork Savvy! a wine tasting event held in August that serves as a fundraiser for the Dr. Walter Hardy Scholarship Fund. The inaugural event, sponsored by Scripps Networks Interactive, was so successful that it is being replicated for other Urban League Young Professional groups across the country.
