Mayors Honor Local DAR Chapters

View Larger Photo [JPG] TN Society DAR September 19, 2012 - Proclamations from Mayor Rogero and Mayor Burchett were presented to six local chapters of the Daughers of the American Revolution (DAR) on Thursday. Each chapter received proclamations honoring "Constitution Week" for Sept. 17-23 and "DAR Day" in Knoxville for Oct. 11.

Chapters present were as follows: Andrew Bogle Bonny Kate Cavett Station Daughters at the University of Tennessee Emory Road Samuel Frazier This year marks the 122nd Anniversary of the founding of the DAR.
