Holston River Dog Park Opens Sept. 5

August 30, 2012 - City of Knoxville officials and PetSafe will celebrate the opening of the area's newest dog park at the Holston River Dog Park at 4 p.m. on Sept. 5. The new dog park is located at 3300 Holston Hills Rd. The project is part of a $500,000 commitment from PetSafe to build five parks within every sector of Knox County. This is the last project of that commitment. The other parks include Tommy Schumpert Park, Knox County; The Downtown Dog Park at Summit and Central, Knoxville; Charter Doyle Park, Knoxville; Concord Park (which will open Saturday, Sept. 8), Knox County; and Holston River Park, Knoxville.
