City's July 4th Holiday Schedule

June 28, 2012 - City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th for the July 4th holiday.

Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed Wednesday July 4th for the holiday. They will pick up Wednesday's garbage Thursday, Thursday's garbage Friday, and Friday's garbage Saturday.

The downtown trash collections will run their normal schedule Wednesday, July 4th.

The city's recycling centers will be open but the Goodwill attendant will not be on duty.

The city's Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th.
