KUB's Meter Reading Contractor Changes Name and Logo
KUBJanuary 31, 2012 - Since 1996, KUB has contracted with Utility Meter Services (UMS) to read meters and perform other related service work within its service territory. In February 2012, UMS will undergo a name change to Grid One Solutions.

The following logo will replace the current UMS logo on the contractors' uniforms and trucks:

Grid one Solutions

"We want to ensure KUB customers are aware of the name change to help alleviate any concerns they may have," said Dale Grubbs, KUB Customer Service.

Grid One Solutions employees will carry KUB contractor ID badges with them at all times, as do all of KUB's employees and contractors. If you are concerned about a KUB contractor or employee on your property, you can call KUB at 524-2911 to verify that someone has been sent to your address. If you are still unsure, do not hesitate to call 911.
