WIVK / Fowler's Christmas Parade Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
Santa Claus at paradeNovember 28, 2011 - Enjoy the annual WIVK / Fowler's Christmas Parade this year on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Country Music Artist Rodney Atkins will serve as Grand Marshal for the parade.

The parade will run along Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville.

The parade is one of Knoxville's Christmas favorites and you are sure to enjoy floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands, dancers, a special appearance by Santa Claus and more!

The parade will be shown live on Volunteer TV 8.

The parade will form near the Civic Coliseum, between Garages A and B, and will travel along Hall of Fame Boulevard before turning west up Hill Avenue and then north onto Gay Street. It will conclude at the intersection of Depot and Gay Streets.

Free parking is available in city parking facilities downtown, including the Market Square Garage, Locust Street Garage and State Street Garage after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
WIVK / Fowlers Christmas Parade
Christmas in the City 2011After the parade drop by Knoxville's Holidays on Ice to skate. The rink is open, rain or shine, now through January 8, 2011. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children 12-years-old and younger. The admission price includes skate rental. And make sure to mark your calendar Comcast Christmas in Chilhowee Park on Friday December 9. The event starts at at 6 p.m. Plus enjoy nightly self-guided driving tours through the park now thru Jan. 1st.
