Knox County 9/11 Commemorative Memorial Ceremony Held Sept. 9

September 9, 2011 - Mayor Brown and representatives from the City of Knoxville joined Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett and Knox County officials for a 911 Commemorative Memorial Ceremony at on Friday, September 9, on the City County Building Lawn. The observance featured a tree planting ceremony honoring the local families of those who lost loved ones in the September 11, 2001 attacks. The City of Knoxville's 9/11 Observance will be held on Sunday, September 11 starting at 8:25 a.m. Click here for more information.
