Knoxville's "wildest" party just keeps getting better with the addition of even more purveyors
of East Tennessee's best food and beverages. Guests can eat, drink and dance their way throughout the zoo at Feast
with the Beasts, one of the zoo's biggest fundraisers, on Saturday, August 20, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Adventurous eaters can enjoy a variety of cuisines to suit all types of palates, from appetizers to desserts, at more than
40 tents throughout the zoo. Participating vendors include Ole Smoky Distillery, Brixx Pizza, Highland Brewing
Company, Latitude 35, Bayou Bay Seafood House, Beans Creek Winery, Puleo's Grille, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts,
O'Charley's, Chandler's Deli, Sapphire Knoxville, Blue Coast Burrito and Smoky Mountain Brewery, just to name a
few. A complete list of participating vendors can be found on Knoxville Zoo's Web site at www.knoxville-zoo.org.
Music on three stages promises to keep the evening lively. Second Opinion will entertain on the main Plaza stage,
playing danceable music from classics to contemporary hits. Dream On Alice will rock the Kids Cove stage with hits
from the 70's to the present and Homemade Wine will be playing songs for those who are on "island time" on the
Animal Encounter Village stage. Tuatha Dea Drum Nation will be inspiring the inner drummer in everyone with a
special drum experience.
Tickets for Feast with the Beasts are $60 per person in advance and $70 the day of the event. Zoo members receive a $5
discount. Want to bring the whole herd? Buy nine tickets and get the tenth ticket free! Tickets are on sale at area
ORNL Federal Credit Union branches and Knoxville Zoo's ticket window during zoo hours. Tickets can also be
