City Greenways
If it is raining heavily enough to be uncomfortable the event will take place Sunday, March 27th from 12:00-3:00 pm.

Knoxville has a wonderful greenway system and the Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee is pleased to offer this opportunity to residents interested in helping take care of it. Greenways provide many benefits for communities and individuals including maintaining and improving health, economic growth, natural resource conservation, alternative transportation, recreation and community-building.

Please join the effort to maintain our greenways and strengthen our community. Anyone can volunteer, but please confirm your participation with the City of Knoxville/AmeriCorps Greenway Ranger, John Gardner at JRgardner@cityofknoxville.org.
