Small Business Conference March 9
The City of Knoxville Annual Small Business Conference will be held March 9, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 Noon at Pellissippi State Community College Magnolia Campus. For registration contact Joshalyn Hundley at 865-215-3867 or at jhundley@cityofknoxville.org. On site registration available.
March 8, 2011 - The 2011 Annual Small Business Conference sponsored by the City of Knoxville, the Women Business Enterprise Council South and Pellissippi State Community College will be held Wednesday, March 9 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Pellissippi State Community College's Magnolia Campus (1610 E. Magnolia Avenue).

The conference is free.

Kathryn Mahoney, business development coordinator with the Women Business Enterprise Council South is the featured speaker.

There will also be presentations concerning business opportunities with the City of Knoxville, The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Tennessee Board of Regents. There will also be sessions on IRS resources for small business and new U.S. Small Business Administration policies.

This free conference is designed to help small businesses better compete for government contracts and other opportunities. It is part of an ongoing series of programs offered by the City of Knoxville's Community Relations Department.
