|November 29, 2010 - Despite a hectic December schedule, Santa Claus has plans to stop by
Knoxville Zoo for a special holiday appearance. Join the jolly old elf himself for Breakfast with
Santa on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with seating beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Guests will enjoy a hot breakfast buffet in the Pilot Special Exhibit Building and festive holiday
crafts and games inspired by the season. Guests can also have a personal visit with Santa to
reassure him that they have indeed been very nice this year, and pose for a keepsake photo, so be
sure to bring your camera. Santa's helpers will make sure each child receives a special zoo gift,
Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling the zoo at (865) 637-5331, ext. 300.
Tickets are $22.95 for adults and $17.95 for children 2-12 years. Children under 2 are free. Zoo
members receive a $3.00 discount on tickets. Ticket price includes breakfast, all games and
activities, child's holiday gift from Santa and admission to Knoxville Zoo. Seating to this event is

Interstate 40, the zoo is open every day except
Christmas Day. Knoxville Zoo is nationally

Currently, the zoo is open daily from 10:00
a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Admission and ticket
sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes.
