Knoxville Marathon This Weekend!!!
Mayor Haslam at Covenant Health Knoxville Marthon Press ConferenceMarch 23, 2010 - Mayor Bill Haslam, Tony Spezia - president and CEO of Covenant Health, Covenant Health Fitness Expert Missy Kane and Race Director Jason Altman presented a press conference Tuesday to announce last minute details for the Knoxville Marathon this weekend.

The sixth annual Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is a weekend-long celebration of fitness and running on March 27-28, including nearly 6,000 runners of all ages covering distances from a one-mile fun run for children to the full marathon.

Most of the races will travel through several Knoxville neighborhoods before ending in Neyland Stadium.

Knoxvill MarathonThe weekend includes a day-long health and fitness expo and the Covenant Kids Run on Saturday, March 27, followed by the 5K, marathon relay, half-marathon and a full marathon races on Sunday.
