| City Accepting Applications for Community Agency Grants |
February 24, 2010 -
The City of Knoxville is currently accepting applications from non-profit organizations interested in obtaining a city Community Agency Grant for fiscal year 2010-2011, which begins on July 1, 2010.
The deadline for filing an application is 5 p.m., Friday, March 12. The city will not consider any application received after that time.
To apply for a grant an organization must operate within the City of Knoxville and it must have been in operation for at least five years. Two organizations may chose to apply as a partnership but only one of them will be designated as the applicant.
There are two different application forms this year, one is for agencies seeking an “Arts and Culture” grant and the second is for other non-profit agencies seeking a community agency grant.
Priority in awarding the grants will be given to proposals that contribute to the goals and mission of the City of Knoxville.
Additional information about, and applications for, the city’s Community Agency Grants may be obtained at www.cityofknoxville.org/citygrants or by calling Cathy Chesney at 865-215-2831. |
