|January 4, 2010 - This January, it pays to recycle! Bring your outdated phone book to the zoo for
recycling and get a real deal on zoo admission, thanks to the annual partnership between AT&T Real
Yellow Pages and Knoxville Zoo.
From Jan. 4 through Jan. 31, 2010, visitors can present an outdated phone book and receive one free
admission ticket with the purchase of another. Since the zoo is currently celebrating Penguin Discount
Days, when admission is half-price, this means visitors who bring an outdated phone book can get two
admissions for half the price of one regular admission.
A January visit to Knoxville Zoo is one of the area’s best-kept secrets; many of the animals, such as the red
pandas and otters, enjoy the crisp weather and are more active, and the zoo has plenty of indoor viewing
areas for animals such as chimpanzees, gorillas, elephants and penguins on days when they aren’t outdoors.
The annual recycling program fits well with both Knoxville Zoo’s and AT&T Real Yellow Pages’
commitment to recycling and conservation. Each copy of the AT&T Real Yellow Pages are recyclable and
include tips on recycling. Each AT&T Real Yellow Pages directory contains an average of 44 percent
recycled materials that include paper and residual sawdust reclaimed from lumber processing operations.
AT&T Advertising Solutions offers the most effective, full suite of advertising search products that enables
advertisers to connect with potential customers anytime, anywhere. In addition to our print directories, we
provide search information through YELLOWPAGES.COM, RealPagesLive.com, YPmobile, YP411 and
more. Combined, these print and online products receive more than 5 billion consumer searches a year for
local business information and provide more than 1 million advertisers with valuable sales leads to help
their businesses grow.
Special thanks to sponsors AT&T Real Yellow Pages and Keep Knoxville Beautiful. This promotion is
not valid with any other coupon, discount or offer and ends Jan. 31, 2010.
