Mayor Welcomes Newly Elected Council Members
City Council
November 4, 2009 - Mayor Bill Haslam and Senior Directors met with newly elected City Council members for lunch on Wednesday in the Mayor's Conference Room.

The five newly elected City Council members are as follows: Nick Pavlis - 1st District, Duane Grieve - 2nd District, Brenda Palmer - 3rd District, Nick Della Volpe - 4th District and Daniel Brown - 6th District.

The Swearing-In Ceremonies for the new members will start at 12 noon on Dec. 19 in the Main Assembly Room of the City County Building.

The new five candidates will join City Councilman Joe Bailey, Councilman Chris Woodhull, Councilwoman Marilyn Roddy and Vice-Mayor Bob Becker to create the nine member Council.

Current Council members Councilwoman Barbara Pelot, Councilman Joseph Hultquist, Councilman Steve Hall, Councilman Rob Frost and Councilman Robert Booker are term limited.
