For Immediate Release
City Services Schedule for July 4th Holiday

June 29, 2009 - City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd for the July 4th holiday.

Waste Connections, the city’s household garbage collector, will run its normal schedule on Friday, July 3rd.

Downtown trash collection will pick up garbage on its regular schedule on Friday, July 3rd.

The city’s recycling centers will be open on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th.

The city’s Solid Waste Management Facility, located at 1033 Elm Street, will be closed Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th for the July 4th holiday.
