Horton Hears a WhoJune 16, 2009 - Going to the movies becomes an adventure with the debut of Zoovies presented by Fowler’s Furniture at Knoxville Zoo!

On Friday, June 26, the zoo will screen the Dr. Seuss favorite Horton Hears a Who. This family favorite features Jim Carrey as the voice of Horton the Elephant as he struggles to protect a microscopic community from his neighbors.

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Clayton Family Kids Cove tent. In addition to some wild time to play in Kids Cove, Zoovie-goers will also get to meet some zoo animals and take a carousel ride on the “Fuzzy-Go-Round”. (Additional charge for carousel rides.)

Fowler’s Furniture is providing one family the chance to be the evening’s VIPs with the Fowler’s Furniture Front Row Family contest. The lucky winners will receive free admission for four people to the event and have front row seats in recliners reserved just for them. You can register to win in person at Knoxville Zoo or any Fowler’s Furniture location. You may also register online at www.knoxville-zoo.org.
